Colombia Honey Peach Castillo

Another exceptional coffee from Jairo Arcila. Arcila is a third generation coffee grower in Quinido, Colombia. After 40+ years of work as a Mill Manager at Colombia's second largest exporter, he retired and bought his first coffee farm. His sons, Carlos and Felipe, are now experts in producing specialty coffee and along with their help, Jairo has been able to improve the picking, sorting and processing of his coffees. 

This honey processed coffee goes through anaerobic fermentation with wine yeast and peaches. This process makes for a very fruit forward cup filled with notes of ripe peach and cherry with a tea like body. It finished with notes of butterscotch or caramel.
