Ethiopia Sidamo Guji
Ethiopia Sidamo Guji refers to coffee grown in the Guji Zone, which is part of the larger Sidamo coffee-growing region in southern Ethiopia. This heirloom varietal is grown at high elevations promoting a slow maturation leading to more complex flavors. Natural/Dry processing further intensifies the cup to be very fruit-forward.
Here are some of the things we taste in the cup:
Expect berry notes, tropical fruits, floral aromatics, and syrupy body.
This is one of the four or five coffees that we've been roasting for over 10 years. We've dialed it in and gotten pretty good at it. There is nothing like this coffee. We find it to be especially good as a cold brew. It has a light, bouncy, fruit-filled quality to it that's almost effervescent and refreshing.

I love African coffee and big shoulders really does a great job with African sourced beans. Even though it is one of the lesser expensive coffees this Ethiopian coffee is really my favorite. It has a nutty smooth flavor.
