Colombia Manos De Mujer
This coffee comes from a women farmer's project called Manos de Mujer. Their initiative is part of a project that seeks to strengthen the economy of the region and, at the same time, provide opportunities to victims of the armed conflict. Currently this co-op's family is made up of 80% women heads of family, 20% young people, of which 100% are victims of the armed conflict. Manos de Mujer comes from 100% women owned and run farms.
The fully washed Organic Colombian coffee has a classic morning cup of coffee balance to it with mild acidity, dried fruit and vanilla undertones.

Colombia Manos De Mujer
Found this coffee because it was served at a restaurant I frequent (Wild Fire in Eden Prairie, MN) and decided to order it. Manos de Mujer is the most delicious coffee I have ever had, and I love that buying it supports women in Colombia's conflict-torn regions. The online order and deliver service of Big Shoulders Coffee was great as well.
A very nice delicate but distinctive flavor. I like to use it as a break from dark roasts like 1848 and Bold Slugger. Makes a lovely morning cup.
Love your coffee. Thanks for shipping in such a timely manner
