“The Hill of Frogs”. This farm is named after the thousands of frogs that inhabit the farm’s lagoon.
JASAL is family owned operation consisting of the producer Joe Antonio Salaverria and his sons. Together they pulp perfectly ripened cherries and then dry the coffee beans, still covered in mucilage, on clay patios while constantly turning the beans to ensure even drying.
This coffee features lush ripe stone fruits, violets, and sweet tangerine. A wonderful roast for Chemex and Hario V60 alike, this coffee is a delicious choice for home brewing.
