It was the very beginning of rolling up sleeves in the gritty industrial yards of Pilsen.

It was the first year Chicago served as a vital connection point and distribution center.

Amazing Coffee

I had this coffee while we were out at dinner downtown and never thought I'd be able to order it. When I found it, I was absolutely thrilled and now only drink 1848!

Best coffee for me!

I don’t know what prompted me to buy a bag of 1848. It is advertised as an espresso blend and I am a French Press person, and usually not into dark bold flavors. SO GLAD I did! It is delicious. It tastes great in my French Press. I tried going back to my old favorites, and couldn’t. I am addicted to 1848 now :-)

The description is perfectly accurate for this coffee. I am glad I tried. It. It is a bit too “rugged” for me. This is still a great coffee.
